Office Hours

The office and yard will be open until December 22nd.
We will reopen January 3, 2011.

Security will monitor the yard, boats, and buildings while closed.

Boat Show

The Detroit Boat Show is set for February 12th - 20th, 2011.

Yes there will be a thaw and boating will begin in less than 100 days, so get ready with a new boat or new gear.

Come one, Come all to the Greatest Boat Show around.

Transient Docks for Hydroplane Weekend

We will begin taking reservations for all transient docks starting February 1st, 2011. We will not take reservations any earlier and will be making no exceptions to this rule. For those of you that were told we would start January 16th, it has been determined more time was needed and the date was pushed back. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please watch in January for further information to be sent out.

Club Kean Membership

We hope you all enjoyed your complimentary membership to Club Kean this past year. We had a great closing Sports Night at the SCYC last week. Memberships are now available for purchase for 2011. They are for the calendar year, so all existing memberships expire on January 1, 2011. The cost is $100 per family for the year. We will host a special event for SCYC, Club Kean and other clubs in February. You must be a paid member to attend. Look for further information in the new year.

Hear Ye Hear Ye, John Kean in Hall of Fame

John Kean was inducted into the Michigan Boating Industries Hall of Fame. John congratulations from all of us. We appreciate your years of service to this industry, this marina and our country! Colonel Kean, We Salute You!

That is it for the year. We are going home and we are tired. Hopefully Santa will appreciate the hard work our staff has done. When you see them Thank them! They work hard for you!
